Nick is no stranger to the industry. Prior to joining LHH Penna, he held roles as VP Leadership Development at Kenexa in North America, and as Regional Director at Fairplace UK where his responsibilities included aggressive growth strategies and a clear focus on developing his teams for high performance and competitive advantage. Nick has exceptional international business experience with a proven track record of excellent growth in revenue and profitability. Matt Russell Director, Talent Practice Matt Russell Director, Talent Practice As the Head of LHH | Penna’s UK Talent Practice, Matt is responsible for the strategic direction and performance of the Practice. With responsibility for people, products, solutions and delivery, he has a keen focus on innovation and delivering solutions that help our clients achieve results through high-performing leaders and employees. Matt has a background in Global Sales and Talent Development with 15 years’ experience of selling, designing and delivering talent solutions across the globe with clients from multiple sectors. Prior to this role Matt held roles as Sales Director and Talent Development Director for LHH, with focus on growing both the Talent and Career Transition practices in the UK. In both roles Matt was instrumental in the growth of the UK business. Prior to LHH, Matt was Global Account Manager for DDI selling Talent Solutions across the globe. Prior to DDI, he worked in the Outplacement industry for Chiumento. Jo Smith Vice President, Global Sales Jo Smith Vice President, Global Sales As Senior Vice President for Global Sales, Jo has oversight of Lee Hecht Harrison’s UK sales and account management and ensures that LHH’s Client Partner team have the ability to meet the needs of our diverse client base and drive LHH to be the market leader in the UK and globally. Prior to joining LHH, Jo was responsible for project delivery for Europe for Drake Beam Morin, Inc., where he oversaw the consistent, high quality delivery of services to clients, helping them navigate risk and complexity in Europe in their workforce transformation activities. Before joining DBM, Jo worked in the public and third sector in the UK. This experience – working with vulnerable young people to support them into employment, education and training, instilled a determination to make a difference to individuals, with a particular focus on careers and coaching. Frances Cook Director, Senior Directors Unit Frances Cook Director, Senior Directors Unit Frances has headed up the Senior Directors Unit since 2005. Prior to this she has held a number of senior roles, including that of Group International Director and Managing Director of Penna Sanders and Sidney, where she was also a plc Board member. Frances has held a number of non-executive roles outside the group in the financial, charitable and educational sector and is a frequent commentator on senior executive issues on radio, television and in national and specialist press. Her early career was spent in the retail and consumer goods sector in buying, marketing and general management roles. Outside work she is a keen runner having completed numerous half marathons and marathons. Caroline Armstrong Director, Candidate Operations Caroline Armstrong Director, Candidate Operations As the Director of Candidate Operations, Caroline is responsible for the individual client and delivery operations function in the UK. With nearly 10 years experience working in the career transition and workforce transition industry, Caroline has a strong commitment to, and passion for, working with people in helping them to achieve their new career aspirations. Working closely with clients, the delivery team and her cadre of consultants, Caroline implements best practice from the outset, ensuring the service offering is understood accessible to everyone and that delivery is consistent and modified according to the location or needs of the employees accessing the LHH services. Kerry Simmons Marketing Director Kerry Simmons Marketing Director Kerry is responsible for creating, defining and executing the marketing strategy for the UK and Ireland. A seasoned marketing leader, she has spent over 18 years successfully creating, influencing and delivering the marketing, sales, channel and product strategies for HR and recruitment firms. Having worked in tech, consultancy and serviced-based organisations, from start ups to global enterprises, Kerry uses her insight into the world of HR to ensure the organisations she works in are designing, delivering and promoting high-value, high-impact solutions to HR leaders. For the last 4 years, Kerry has worked in the workforce transformation arena, heading up the marketing team at the Savile Group and then Penna prior to the acquisition by LHH. Greg Crease Head of IT Greg Crease Head of IT In his role as Head of IT, Greg is responsible for driving business growth through innovative technology. He leads a team of technology professionals, implementing creative solutions for clients and candidates. Greg has more than 21 years of experience within financial services and human capital management. His career began in 1994 at General Accident where he was Team Leader for IT support services. In 1998, he moved to BBM Associates and then was promoted within Sanders & Sidney plc where he implemented an international network and applications in support of business operations and delivery. These solutions were extended to global coverage under Penna plc and the Career Star Group. In 2009, Greg created an information security management system for all UK operations which became accredited to ISO 27001 in 2010. Greg holds a BA from the University of Oxford and an MSc from Imperial College, London. Greg is a keen sportsman and has competed at an international level, representing Great Britain in two different sports and coaching in one. Magda Jedrychowska Head of Finance Magda Jedrychowska Head of Finance As the Head of Finance, Magda has complete responsibility for all the financial strategies, procedures and activities within the UK and Irish businesses. She plays a crucial hands on role with the company’s finances as well as bringing her commercial awareness to the team to advise on the best path of growth for the business. Our Executive Leadership Team Peter Alcide President & COO Peter Alcide President & Chief Operating Officer United States As President of Lee Hecht Harrison, Peter Alcide leads LHH's global team including sales, strategy, service innovation and client service. Peter is responsible for driving LHH's aggressive growth and diversification plans. He has an extraordinary range of industry knowledge and skills to draw upon, particularly in the M&A arena, as he focuses on building LHH's industry leading Career Transition business line and spearheading the company's successful expansion in the Talent Solutions sector. Peter joined Lee Hecht Harrison in 1994 and served as EVP, Chief Financial and Corporate Development Officer for LHH worldwide for 10 years. In 2004 he was tapped to serve as the Adecco North America Chief Financial Officer and then Chief of Staff. Returning to LHH in 2006, he currently serves as President and Chief Operating Officer. Peter began his career with Ernst & Young, where he rose to the level of Manager. That was the first of several key executive positions, which included significant management and M&A experience. Peter holds an MBA and BBA in accounting from Pace University, and is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in New York. Jim Mitchell Executive Vice President Canada Jim Mitchell Executive Vice President Canada As Senior Vice President and Managing Director for Lee Hecht Harrison’s Midwest Region, Jim is responsible for delivering premium customer value and exceptional results. His team’s goal is to provide highly effective talent management solutions in one of North America’s most globally dynamic labor markets. Jim managed successful and diverse organizations in North America, Latin America and Europe. Under his direction, international teams developed and implemented innovative global business solutions in the automotive, steel, utilities and consumer products markets. In addition to line management responsibilities, Jim’s business background includes market strategy, process transformation, operations planning, cost and economic analysis, and mergers & acquisitions. As a member of the European Institute in London, Jim researched the impact of globalization on labor markets, systems of capitalism, and EU law. His book, “Recapitalization of Banks in Transition Economies; Poland and Hungary in the New Market Economy,” provides a unique insight into the interrelationship between managerial practices and economic theory. He has consulted with international leaders in business, government and academe on the unique challenges facing transition economies and industrial sectors in significant change. Jim holds Master’s degrees from the London School of Economics and Northwestern University and a Bachelor’s degree from John Carroll University. He serves on the Boards of Directors of the Detroit Economic Club, Detroit Public Television and Detroit Symphony Orchestra, and is a member of the US Army - Southeast Michigan Advisory Council, Inforum and Leadership Detroit XXVII. Ranjit de Sousa Executive Vice President Europe, Middle East & Africa Ranjit de Sousa Executive Vice President, Europe, Middle East & Africa Europe, Middle East & Africa Ranjit de Sousa is responsible for the EMEA operations of Lee Hecht Harrison, one of the global divisions of the Adecco Group. He is a member of the Lee Hecht Harrison Executive Team. Ranjit, based in Zurich, has worked in global business development, strategy and M&A for the Adecco Group and Lee Hecht Harrison in Zurich, Paris (2006-2007) and New York (2008-2009) while at the same time leading several key sales and account management teams for some of the division's largest clients. Prior to joining Lee Hecht Harrison, he worked as partner and strategy consultant at Ziel Consulting, a boutique M&A and growth strategy firm based in Zurich, driving the company's growth during its start up phase. His career began in 2001 at Monitor Group, gathering working experience as strategy consultant with a focus on market entry and growth topics in different Continental European countries. Ranjit holds an M.A. (lic. rer. publ. HSG) in economics, law and political science from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and studied at the Institut Universitaire de Hautes Études Internationales in Geneva (HEI). Between 2002 and 2005, he also was an assistant lecturer for Swiss public and private law at the University of St. Gallen. Karen Faehndrich President Asia Karen Faehndrich President, Asian Operations Asia As President for Lee Hecht Harrison's Asian region Karen shapes the growth of the business through the oversight and design of strategic interventions in support of organisations undergoing change, developing leadership capability, implementing business improvement processes and enhancing personal performance. Customers rely on Karen to address existing and emerging business issues and people strategies in concert with economic, market and cultural nuances stretching as far as Africa and the Middle East. In addition Karen sits on the Lee Hecht Harrison | DBM Global team representing her region for career transition, talent and capability development and all issues pertaining to the design of leading edge solutions in support of our customer's business results. Her team is the cornerstone for delivering to meet business imperatives representing Lee Hecht Harrison | DBM's centre of excellence for the Asia region. Karen’s previous experience has also included oversight of business operations in the Arabian Gulf and South Africa. Karen has managed her own consultancy specialising in people performance and organisational dynamics and has over 18 years experience in the Human Capital Management industry. This experience also includes roles held with full commercial and financial performance accountability in Australia, New Zealand, China, Hong Kong, Korea and Singapore. Karen graduated from Melbourne University with a Bachelor of Education and Learning and is located in Hong Kong. José Augusto L. Figueiredo President Brasil & Executive Vice President Latin America José Augusto L. Figueiredo President, Brasil & Executive Vice President, Latin America José Augusto Figueiredo acts as President for LHH Brazil and Executive VP for Latin America. He also coaches CEOs and works as consultant in cultural transformation projects at LHH. He holds a Coaching Certificate from Columbia University, is accredited by ICF as Associate Certified Coach, holds a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute, is a member of LHH’s Global Executive Committee, and is a Global Board Director of the International Coach Federation – ICF. He is a volunteer counselor at Rede Cidadã and Mentor at Endeavor. As Board Member he acts at ABRH-SP, ABRH-Rio and COPPEAD – UFRJ. He holds an Executive MBA Certificate in Business Administration from COPPEAD – Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Kevin Gagan Executive Vice President Global Sales Kevin Gagan Executive Vice President, Global Sales Kevin Gagan is Executive Vice President for Global Sales at Lee Hecht Harrison — a subsidiary business of Adecco Group, the world's leading workforce solutions provider. In his role, Kevin is responsible for creating Lee Hecht Harrison's business strategies and identifying sources of innovation and growth for the company. He oversees LHH's three practice areas - Career Management, Leadership Consulting and Workforce Solutions, with focus on developing the company's thought leadership, client service methodologies and delivery capabilities. He also manages LHH's strategic alliances. In 20 years of management consulting experience, Kevin has advised numerous companies from a variety of industries on the subject of talent management and often consults for many large client engagements. He has significant experience in planning and managing large-scale projects, and recruiting, developing and retaining executive talent. He also represents LHH by speaking at industry events such as the 2006 World Business Forum. Prior to joining LHH, Kevin advised organizations on large-scale leadership development and change management initiatives while running his own consulting practice. Previously, Kevin was an Associate Partner with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) specializing in Change Management and Human Performance solutions. Kevin was also a Director with Spencer Stuart, a global retained executive recruiting firm, where he advised companies on recruiting, managing and retaining key executive talent. Kevin earned a B.S. in Finance from Santa Clara University. Claudio Garcia Executive Vice President Strategy & Corporate Development Claudio Garcia Executive Vice President, Strategy & Corporate Development As Executive Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development Claudio has responsibility for Lee Hecht Harrison's business strategies and to identify sources of innovation and growth for the company. He oversees LHH's Practice areas, with focus on innovating and developing the client experience and delivery capabilities in the Talent Mobility arena. He is also responsible for building key industry and strategic alliances and overseeing geographic growth of the company. Claudio served for seven years as Executive Vice President of Latin America Operations and as President of Latin America for DBM (acquired by LHH in 2011), during which time he led the development of the talent development practice, as well as geographic expansion in the region. These successes, together with market share growth in the career transition practice, resulted in a significant growth of the region operations in sales and in relevance inside LHH/DBM operations . Claudio joined DBM in 2006. Claudio developed his career in a diversified range of segments such as financial industry, entertainment, media communications, and beverages in different areas from finance to operations. Claudio graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering, and a post-graduate degree in Business Management. James Greenway Executive Vice President Marketing & Sales Effectiveness Jim Greenway Executive Vice President, Marketing & Sales Effectiveness James Greenway, Executive Vice President, Marketing & Sales Effectiveness, has been a successful senior manager, entrepreneur, consultant and a seminar leader for more than two decades. At Lee Hecht Harrison, a subsidiary business of Adecco Group — the world's leading workforce solutions provider, Jim establishes sales objectives, oversees project development, and maintains prime client relationships. Jim was previously employed with LHH from 1988 — 1995 as EVP of Global Sales and Project Services, during which time he acquired three firms, opened three new offices and built up the Western Region operations. During this earlier LHH tenure, Jim was also a member of the Company's Executive Committee and Advisory Council. He was also honored with three President's Awards. In 1997, Jim joined Right Management Consultants to lend his expertise to the firm's goal of solving global workforce changes. There, he implemented creative, flexible and customized solutions —successfully developing several models for predicting and planning change events that will ensure the best value to customers. Jim was also instrumental in starting up the firm's Global Response Team, a worldwide group of 22 experts on solutions to complex workforce changes. Jim graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelor of science degree. He also holds a master's degree from the University of Southern California. Jim is also an active community service leader, and his efforts have been recognized by the Bar Association's "Liberty Bell" award and the Jaycee's "Three Outstanding Young Men" Award. Before joining Lee Hecht Harrison as Sales Director, Ross worked for one of the world’s leading Human Resource firms Northgate Arinso (NGA). NGA provide a mix of HR consultancy and IT solutions that assist organisations transform their business-critical HR operations to deliver more effective and efficient people-critical services. In his 10 years with NGA Ross worked for the business in four separate countries before coming to Australia. Ross is a Graduate from Abertay University in Dundee Scotland and holds an honours degree in Information Management. Pam Jones Executive Vice President, General Counsel Pam Jones Executive Vice President, General Counsel As Executive Vice President, General Counsel, Pamela Jones is the executive with oversight of Lee Hecht Harrison’s legal affairs. With over twenty years working in corporate environments, Pam supports the business strategies that drive LHH to be the market leader. Until October 2016, Pam held a dual role as the EVP of Human Resources and Legal. Prior to joining LHH, Pam was Sr. Vice President, Human Resources and General Counsel for Drake Beam Morin, Inc., where she helped the senior management team establish best practices for DBM’s organizational transformation that resulted in greater market positioning, industry leading profit margins and high shareholder value. This led to DBM's acquisition by Adecco and merger with Lee Hecht Harrison. Before joining DBM, Pam was Senior Corporate Counsel for Universal Studios, the adventure theme park and resort in Orlando, Florida. Prior to joining Universal, Pam was with Spherion Corporation, a leading North America recruitment and staffing company, for eight years. Pam held several positions with Spherion and its predecessor, Norrell Corporation, most recently Assistant General Counsel in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Prior to starting her in-house career with Norrell in Atlanta, Pam was an associate with the management labor and employment law firm of Clark, Paul, Hoover and Mallard - now part of Ford & Harrison - in Atlanta, Georgia. Pam graduated with a law degree (Juris Doctorate) from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia in May 1993. She earned a Bachelor of Science, Business from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in December 1990. John Morgan Executive Vice President United States John Morgan Executive Vice President John Morgan is an experienced Management Consultant and Executive in the Talent Development/Mobility industry. John has more than 17 years of experience in professional services and is currently an Executive Vice President with Lee Hecht Harrison with overall responsibility for the United States. In his role at LHH John has overall responsibility for meeting the firm's annual sales and profitability goals across the US zone. John is also responsible for all US operations and client service delivery including Career Transition Solutions, Executive Coaching and Change Management Services. During his 10 years at LHH he has led some of the firm's largest client engagements. Prior to joining LHH, John was a Senior Manager at Stromberg Consulting where he also led large scale human capital solutions for Fortune 500 companies in the Pharmaceutical, Retail, Financial Services and Professional Services industries. One of John’s major accomplishments included leading the redesign and implementation of a Marketing Operations function at a Fortune 50 Pharmaceutical company. This work included overseeing a detailed employee activity analysis, development of new employee role descriptions, and overseeing the talent assessment for the entire department. John also has extensive experience in training/learning design and internal communication strategies to help drive desired organization and employee change. Sharon Patterson Executive Vice President, Human Resources Sharon Patterson Executive Vice President, Human Resources Sharon is responsible for leading all strategic HR initiatives globally at Lee Hecht Harrison. She has in-depth experience in employer branding, compensation and benefits, change management, employee relations, and training. Sharon brings a business-oriented approach to HR and a strong track record of success developing HR programs that align with strategic business objectives. Prior to LHH, she was CHRO for Canadian Tire and held HR positions with ABB Canada and Union Gas. Sharon holds a BA in Administrative and Commercial Studies from the University of Western Ontario in Canada. Waseem Razzaq Executive Vice President & Chief Information Officer Waseem Razzaq Executive Vice President & Chief Information Officer Waseem Razzaq is responsible for developing and executing the technology strategy roadmap for Lee Hecht Harrison - locally in North America and globally across the Lee Hecht Harrison footprint. He is also a member of the LHH Executive Team. Waseem has been operating in the HR/recruitment sector for 10 years with a number of IT roles culminating in the IT Director within Spring Group. While at Spring, Waseem executed strategic initiatives, which resulted in the technology within Spring being recognized by the 'Innovative use of Technology' award. Waseem was the IT Executive responsible for leading the complex integration following the merger and acquisition between Adecco UK&I, Spring Group plc and MPS Group. After obtaining a Degree in Computer Science and a Masters in Human Computer systems at the De Montfort University in Leicester UK, Waseem started his career working in various IT roles within blue chip organizations including The Woolwich (Barclays Bank) and Caterpillar. He then moved to the CRT Group where he delivered a number of strategic projects in training and consultancy. Karine Storm Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer Karine Storm Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer As Executive Vice President of Finance, Karine Storm is responsible for directing and overseeing the company’s overall financial activities and plays a vital role in identifying opportunities for increased profitability and ensuring that the firm’s strategies are delivering their expected results. She has an international background and expertise in Corporate Finance and Mergers & Acquisitions. Karine joined Lee Hecht Harrison as a member of the company’s Executive Management Team in June 2006. Over the past 13 years, Karine has held various positions and responsibilities within the Adecco Group in Europe and in the United States. Most recently she was the SVP of Business Analysis, Strategy and M&A for Adecco Staffing North America. Prior to that she spent close to three years with the Ajilon Worldwide Professional Staffing and Managed Services division of Adecco as SVP-Division Controller, after being promoted from her position as Director of Planning and M&A for Adecco Management and Consulting (Global Headquarters of Adecco). She is originally from Switzerland and is fluent in several languages that include French and English and conversational skills in German and Italian. Karine holds an MBA degree, with a specialization in Finance from New York University, Leonard Stern School of Business and a graduate license in Economics from the University of Lausanne (HEC), Switzerland.
